The Slotter/Chamfer machine is designed to chamfer compound and simple angles. This operation is accomplished using two chamfer wheels with angles as indicated in the specifications section.
The machine is designed to perform a maximum of 3 slots per brake pad. The conveyor speed is adjustable for finer cuts or greater production speeds.The machine is also semi-automatic. An operator must place the parts on the fixtures in the correct orientation. The fixtures are attached to a chain conveyor that will carry the parts through the cutting zone.
