This positive mold press system is designed to transform loose fill friction material into brake parts bonded to the backing plates. The end product from this machine will be ready to enter the finishing stages of the brake manufacturing process (Grinding, Slotting, Scorching, etc)

The 440M unit molding cell is a two-press work cell, with each press designed to operate with a 4-cavity mold at 40 tons per cavity.

 This 160 Ton Dual Layer Unit Molding Press is a 2 press modules machine. Each module is composed of 2 presses: A and B. Each press in turn is made up of four-pairs of individual 80 Tons hydraulic cylinders acting in pairs from top and bottom on each mold.
